Lazywoods Bakery in New Castle, Virginia offers a delightful variety of homemade Sourdough goods. We pride ourselves on using the finest ingredients to create mouth-watering breads, pastries, pastas, and more that bring joy to every occasion.

 

We have a small number of laying hens from which we sell the eggs not consumed by our family.

 

We also offer rental of certain equipment, at this time a rear tine tiller, and meat poultry processing equipment.

 

Plans to expand that are currently in development include an Apiary, selling of meat chickens, and as we progress selling hogs and possibly goat by shares.

What types of baked goods do you offer?

We offer a variety of sourdough breads, pastries, and pastas. Each cake is made with high-quality ingredients and tailored to your preferences.

Do you provide gluten-free options?

At this time we do not. However *some* people with gluten sensitivity are able to enjoy sourdough as the fermentation process breaks down some of the gluten.    **this will varry person to person amd we cannot give you medical advice or any assurances. It must be tried by the individual at their own risk**

How far in advance should I place an order?

While a few days are normally sufficient we do ask for patience as this is not currently our full time job, we have 4 children, and other obligations as well... we will be more than happy to work with you as best we can, but do ask for patience 

Can I order online?

Saddly no, the section of the Code of VA that we operate under does not allow for us to do online orders, or to place our goods in other people's stores.

 

You can however send us a Facebook message to place an order as long as the pickup and payment is done in person
